Mary Harrison Fine Art

"All Creation Sings His Praise"

The right piece of art does more than transform a room—it reaches beyond the walls to touch the heart. It quietly stirs something within, awakening memories, emotions, and wonder. In that moment, the art becomes more than decoration; it becomes a meaningful presence, gently shaping the way you feel, see, and experience the world from the inside out.

MEET THE ARTIST

Mary Harrison

Collectors don’t just want beauty—they crave resonance. Mary Harrison delivers it. In a world filled with chaos and pain, her fine art paintings infuse a sense of emotional stillness, peace, joy and hope that quietly transform a room… and the soul within it.

In a world filled with confusion, violence, and a lack of nurturing love, my art brings a sense of peace, joy and calmness. Looking beyond the pain and troubles of life, my images encourage people to nurture and love their children, and to find joy through adventurous journeys into the natural world of creation through animals, birds, flowers, and the sea for examples of joy, love, hope  and creative journeys.

Mary Harrison’s work has been exhibited in galleries from Michigan to Florida. Most recently her tryptic work of colorful macaws, "Flying Free," show-cased during Art Prize Grand Rapids. She also had a very unique piece, "Unicorn Dreams," shown as the featured piece at the Elizabeth Oliver Art Center's Winter Show.

"If you’re anything like me, you seek the hope, joy and fun to be found in nature that abounds all around us."

The story begins before the Brush Ever Touches the Canvas.

If you’re a collector, you know it’s the smallest feelings that resonate with you — the story told through the painting. That’s where my process begins: with a story told through image, color, shape, texture, shadow and light. It's emotion on canvas. Hope and joy in faces. Love in the eyes between mother and child. Freedom through movement of wings. Treasures found through exploration.

When you live with my work, it becomes more than an image — it becomes an experience, resonating daily and revealing beauty hidden in the everyday.

“If you’re anything like me, you don’t just want art—you want to feel something every time you see it.”

Art that Speaks.

Collections that Inspire.

“I see collectors as part of the creative process. I might apply the paint, gold leaf, collage, or sparkling mica powder, but the art isn’t complete until it’s hanging in your space, changing the way you feel in your own home.” –Mary

THE COLLECTIONS

Nurturing in Nature

The love we all need deep in our hearts

I create for collectors who don’t just want art—they want a daily reminder of something real. Something that stirs them. You collect moments that speak to your heart of gentle caring and tender love.

Mary's Feathered Flock

The freedom you forgot you were missing

This isn’t just about art—it’s about bringing something into your space that makes you pause. That catches your breath.

That bridges the canyon between your pain and your hope. That's what birds did for me during my cancer journey. Singing outside my window they brought me hope for life and a disease free future. Because I held on to hope in that darkest hour, I paint the freedom of birds in the wild. Because that perspective helps you see what really matters. Come fly with me!

Treasures From The Sea

Your space deserves this quiet elegance.

I grew up beachcombing along the wild shores of the Pacific Northwest, where every walk revealed the quiet wonders of the sea. Smooth stones, weathered driftwood, and—most magical of all—shells of every shape and size felt like small treasures placed gently along the shore by God. Each one carried a story written by tide and time.

Today, it is with deep joy that I share that same sense of wonder with my collectors. Through whimsical and fanciful images of shells, I invite others to wander those coastal waters with me—to rediscover the beauty, mystery, and quiet gifts the ocean leaves behind.

Moons Over Africa

Your heart calls out for this majestic grace.

Though I may never have the opportunity to visit Africa, its wildlife has always held a deep fascination for me. The continent’s animals embody a remarkable blend of size, power, and elegance, shaped by the constant challenges of life in the wild. From the smallest creatures to the most enormous, each moves with a kind of stately grace that reflects both the beauty and the resilience of Africa’s untamed landscapes.

Farms and Fields

Beauty abounds in the daily work and explorations near home

Furry Families From the Farm:

These pieces were created in honor of my daughter and son-in-law who are dedicated farmers raising pigs, goats, ducks, all kinds of crops and children! Life on their farm is a lively mix of hard work and joy. Piglets squeal with irresistible charm in their pens, brimming with the energy of new life. Children erupt with laughter as they chase these quick little runners around the barn. Goats, full of mischief, can be stubborn at times, butting heads and toppling little ones in playful defiance. Yet when a gentle doe yields her milk, she blesses the family with months of nourishing goodness. In these daily rhythms - chaotic, humorous, and deeply rewarding - the true heart of farm life shines.

Garden Blooms

The world began in a garden and cultivating flowers to me is a walk with God in my garden. Will you walk with me?

The beauty of flowers never ceases to amaze me. Each bloom—every petal—bears its own quiet uniqueness, a delicate work of living art. Their gentle colors and lovely fragrances sway softly in the breeze, as if dancing in celebration of life itself. They call to insects and birds that depend upon them, and they call to my heart as well. To garden is to walk with God among His creations, witnessing the quiet wonder and grace woven into every living thing.

THE PROCESS

The story begins before the Brush Ever Touches the Canvas.

If you’re a collector, you know it’s the smallest feelings that resonate with you — the story told through the painting. That’s where my process begins: with a story told through image, color, shape, texture, shadow and light. It's emotion on canvas. Hope and joy in faces. Love in the eyes between mother and child. Freedom through movement of wings. Treasures found through exploration.

It may begin with colorful inks floating across a wet canvas, or by applying actual shells, sea glass, or even colorful papers collaged onto the canvas. Each element is selected to draw you into the magic of the piece.

When you live with my work, it becomes more than an image — it becomes an experience, resonating daily and revealing beauty hidden in the everyday.
